Usability Engineer f/m/d

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES

 

 •Create and improve user experiences for desktop and web products
 •Plan, conduct and evaluate usability tests and research
 •Work closely with developers and product management
 •Analyze, evaluate and optimize interfaces with users and customers
 •Create mockups, click dummies and pixel perfect UIs
 •Create and maintain design and interaction guidelines
 •Create prototypes and solutions that are in tune with other AVL products
 •Support projects from start to implementation
 •Support product management with user requirements
 •Create icons and graphics
 •Continuously improve our technologies and processes together with the UX team
 
  

Your profile

•Degree in usability, communication, interaction, design, psychology, sociology or information technology
 •Sound knowledge of usability, user experience and data driven experience design
 •Proficiency with design tools such as Balsamiq, Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator
 •Creative and analytical thinking
 •Good team player, independent and high social competence
 •Sound knowledge of English
 •Basic understanding of programming principles
 •Several years of working in creating user experiences for complex desktop, mobile and web applications would be beneficial
