    EDUCATION: Incumbent must have the equivalent of a U.S. Master's degree in economics or business administration. EXPERIENCE: At least two years of practical experience in government, a trade association or a private firm in the field of statistical, economic, or business analysis. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of economic theory and Spain's economic structure, institutions, and foreign and domestic policies. Familiarity with Spanish statistical and economic publications. LANGUAGE: Fluent level of English speaking/reading/writing. Fluent level of Spanish speaking/reading/writing. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Incumbent must have well-developed economic analysis and research skills. She should be self-motivated and capable of creative thinking and independent problem solving. S/he should be adept at forming and maintaining a wide-ranging network of public and private sector contacts.
